Earlier this year, I participated in a survey about social media use by college professors. The results are available below — and one of my tweets is featured on Slide 25. Many thanks to Pearson Learning Solutions’ Hester Tinti-Kane for spearheading this survey and letting me know she used one of my tweets!

In my opinion, I think that the results were right on target. Doing reading and researching about this topic; I find that educators are using social media to communicate with their students as well as with other educators. They are allowing the findings of one educator might fit in to their lesson plan. Before educators had to write out their lesson and figure out how to show the students the concept. Social media is being used in the classroom and to help educators. This survey explains that very thing.
